The larger burner was defective from the onset - the knob became but the burner remained on, and at full it gave the impression, regardless of the knob's atmosphere. I had to unplug and plug within the unit to show it on and off. The smaller burner worked!
Amazon used to be nice enough to refund me in full and even paid for the return transport as neatly. Packing appeared fine too, bet it was a producing defect. Hopefully this does not occur to some differents.
